About Us
Founded in 1982 as Tat Leng Enterprise, we focused initially on the business of recycling blown plastic material. In 1984, the Company capitalized on the growing polyethylene bag market with the purchase of 2 extruding and 2 sealing machines.
In 1993, the sole proprietorship was converted into a private limited company and subsequently renamed as Tat Leng Plastic Pte Ltd. The Company continued to grow by expanding production capacity with 11 extruding machines and 13 sealing machines.
In October 2000, Tat Leng Plastic was acquired by Qian Hu Corporation Limited and became one of its subsidiaries following Qian Hu’s listing on the Singapore Exchange in November 2000.
In May 2001, Qian Hu Tat Leng Plastic moved to bigger premises in Woodlands Spectrum 1 and embarked on a series of expansion strategies to boost sales and marketing. As part of its continual strive to improve quality and services, the Company was accredited with the ISO 9001 certification in November.
We now offer a wider range of products, as a one stop direct factory supply for packaging. We carry our own brands of packaging needs like Pallet Stretch Film, Tapes and Aprons.
